Guys this was performed a month after the announcement of her divorce. As someone who has heard many of her live performances I think I can safely say that this is a particularly challenging piece for her to sing. That seems pretty obvious. Cut her a break—it only makes it more moving, in any case, if we were to objectively (and a little coldly) evaluate only its aesthetic merits. It hurts, and that comes across quite clearly. She's a human being first and an entertainer second.
