I just finished Installing this custom lighting piece designed for a private residence on Lake Travis in Austin. These images are quick and dirty; I still need to put the finishing touches on and do some programming, but you get the idea, it going to look amazing!
These exotic hand blown pieces of glass were manufactured by the Italian lighting company Leucos, and range in size from 6' to 10'. Each glass is equipped with a special high intensity solid core fiber optic cable which fits snuggly down it's skinny neck. From there, each run of fiber optic cable is attached to its own RGB LED illuminator. These illuminators are individually addressable and DMX controllable for maximum effect.
