  • Hell Yeah! TN has 93 Octane Shell, oxygenated so the bike was running like crap. Mixing VP100 or MS103 at 1:4, tweaked the Twin Tech and Mikuni a bit, slight adjustment to overall timing(a hair of advance) and man she runs good now! Took three or four tuning episodes, downloaded manuals from Daytona and Mikuni, but now it's rockin!

The unleaded race fuels are so much cheaper than Auto Zone Octane boost and actually boost Octane. R+M/2 bumps the 93 to 95 or 96 with the 1:4 ratio for 11.5:1 comp

  • love the bike . how many cc? what compression ? what cam?

  • @sonshinesmuscadines 1250cc at 12.5:1, Redshift 630/585V2 custom ground to JP Mohn's specs(Fort Bragg Cycle Supply, Nor-Cal). I run 93 Octane Shell and mix in VP MS103 Unleaded since I cannot get the Sunoco 94 where I am at now. I got to say this, when she runs hard, she runs fast and clean. Rice just doesn't have a chance from a dead stop or on a throttle roll from 55. Drop shifts to 3rd from 60, whack it, and she pulls the front wheel up 4" and freakin rockets all the way to redline...175 max

  • whered you get that red chain,,looks bad ass ..?? when in doubt knock em out,..ha,!!!!

  • @dagosonfire It's from EK...530 ZVX in Red. It gets dirty, clean it a bit, add some more goop on it and rock and roll. It is the best chain for the 110hp chain conversion and stronger than my original so I am hoping for more than 4500 miles form it and the custom sprockets this time

  • I was bored until 1:30 then DAMNNNNNNNNNNN got some balls

  • @Nightster760 I had a Force Streetfighter. It broke adn they refused to repair it. They don't even make them in house either. I called RB Racing and spoke with 'The Man in back'(he's the dude who owns the company I found out) We spoke on how my motor was built, how it ran, and how I ride. Since I have hot cams, high compression and use a Daytona Twin Tech timing system we went with the LSR Pro Stock for the added length. Challenge was too short and would not give added torque. LSR was too quiet

  • @Nightster760 Sent you a message re RB Racing. If you are serious about building power in your new 'fuellie'...Zipper's AutoTune, Redshift cams, K&N or better intake, well, you'll get the idea

  • Oh yeah, MORE CONTINGENCY DECALS from WORKS PERFORMANCE(shocks, and progressive fork springs).

Each and every decal on my bike means this: WHEN I race, and do well, I get direct support from the companies. SO in effect, a new set of cams, or some additional oil in fact DOES make make the bike 'go faster', SO in essence, the decals make the bike go faster ;-)
