Callaway Corvette vs RUF Porsche 911 by Jeremy Clarkson

Very nice test between 2 of my icon cars in automotive history : The Callaway Twin Turbo Corvette and The RUF BTR 911 Turbo done by my favorite cynic presentor Jeremy Clarkson.
The harder he comments the more he likes a car.

Back when the C4 Corvette was new, it was one of the best handling sports cars on the road. They dominated the Porsche 928 in SCCA racing, and was Motor Trend's 1984 Car of the year. Anyone who says the C4 Corvette can't handle, has never drove one. Mr. Clarkson purposely made the Corvette preform poorly in this comparison. He ain't fooling me.

@TheRighteous123 The C4 is an excellent cornering car especially on a track. In it's day it got nothing but praise from the real motoring press. As a matter of fact in 1994 when the first C4 was released it was ranked the best cornering car in the world however because of too many complaints about its harsh ride, in 95 the spring rates were increased and it tied with Porsche for road holding. He's just driving it like a retard. In reality C4s corner like they're on rails.

The C7 Corvette coming out soon will have a massive interior upgrade. That should shut up you morons. Corvettes have always been built to go fast not win beauty contest. Still I LOVE the Porsche 911, and Ferrari (s) and Audi R8 and.........

@TheMusicandlyricz you clearly are a novice/noob, no totally ignorant to the car world, American cars are not garbage, clarkson is biased towards any car that isnt american, the c4 corvette was one of the best handling cars in its day, they were even banned from certain race series because no car could compete with them. back in its day the c4 series, and the callaway were fantastic cars. you seem like a euro or jap tuner fag who clearly knows 0 about vehicles in general

American cars are shitty overall. By shitty means the interior quailty with all the cheap plastic and rubber. The appearence of a Vette is alright but the interior just never match the exterior....they have the worst ugly styling interior of a super car. It looks like a 30k-40k sports car interior. Even a cheap Audi A3's interior looks better than the vette.

Clarkson is Clarkson. Top Gear is usually always in favor to anything that isn't american. I still watch it on BBCA anyways, for the Supercar reviews.

i agree he likes european cars better of course hes not american i have owned both porsche and vettes i like them both but prefer big motors. 911 turbo very nice zr1 excellent.
