The Bloop is the name given to an ultra-low frequency underwater sound detected by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration several times during the summer of 1997. The source of the sound remains unknown.

i asked my good friend who has been in the military 30yrs about this noise and before the video played, and he saw the picture of the noise, he instantly said, "thats a submarine explosion. the first yellow line is the implosion of the submarine and then the explosion is the second." when i played the video he told me it was definitely mechanical, and based on the fact that noise travels faster in water, it may be, according to him, a top secret undersea ballistics base imploding and exploding
