(Via http://www.mediamatters.org ) Right-wing media figures enthusiastically endorsed and boosted the failed Conservative Party candidacy of Doug Hoffman in the race to fill a vacant seat in New York's 23rd Congressional District, with several of them hosting Hoffman on their radio or television shows. Media figures who boosted Hoffman include Glenn Beck, Lou Dobbs, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Mike Huckabee, Michelle Malkin, and Andrew Breitbart's BigGovernment.com.

  • I guess the people AREN'T trusting him, cause he lost. Way to ignore the obvious Glenn

  • What losers.

  • LOL... you can just hear Beck and his guest/co-host drooling over this guy. The candidate who dropped seems to have some sensibility when many Republicans are trying to catch the crazy train.

  • Its nice to know that the followers aren't as strong as they'd like to think they are.

  • They might not be liberals up there in some abstract sense, but they are not morons who believe all the crap that talk radio doles out either.

  • That was a shame, I didn't get what they were trying to do with that one. I really felt sorry for her because I looked at her like a progressive republican that would have been good for the GOP.

  • Well, Hoffman has rescinded his concession and says that ACORN and the unions stole the election from him, So he is contesting the results. Sounds like Beck is his adviser.

  • Mainly I think the people were upset at some outsider coming in and the way those assholes attacked Dede S.

  • Well, people are always judged by the bottom 10% of the group, so us leftists can do the same for you righties. Your argument on the ideology of assassins is idiotic as well. We simply do not like those who spread rumors and falsehoods while posing as journalists.

  • Because the district has been decidedly Republican for over 100 years. For Owens to win is a blow to brown bag conservatives in that area.
