I think that Laurey would be a perfect role for Ms. Boggess. My main complaint about her (and her Christine) is that she loses her diction when she gets into her higher register. Laurey, while still a soprano role, stays in the range where Ms. Boggess stays understandable.

No, it's not on DVD, sadly. Proms are Promenade Concerts, a series of concerts each year at the Royal Albert Hall in London. :-)

Aside from her beautiful singing and that sparkling twinkle in her eye, Sierra Boggess has that most elusive of gifts - undiluted Star Quality. Thanks for posting
