use one... paddle in right hand... rod on left..... i dont attach since they float...ty

@lewandlo Dude I thought the same thing... then I won one in a tournament. Now I use it almost every time I go out. You could prob use a ping-pong racket for the same thing... but it is VERY handy to be able to maneuver the kayak w/out using the big paddle.
