if you replaced "god" with , oh let's say, Larry Kleist, and rewrote the bible as a novel about Larry. would Larry be as good of a character as god? would he be moral, smart, respectable. or just another shitty person with fucked up ideas. if i had a bible, i'd try it. but i don't keep garbage in my house for more than a week.

@andymcq2509 If you say the bible is the true literal word of the lord, then yes god advocates slavery. And don't argue with me about it. Your disagreement will not change the fact that it's in the bible, so do not bother. So to conclude, either the bible is not the word of god, and god is not real, or god is selfish monster who likes to see children killed, and does not care if you are a good person who does good deeds, and just requires blind faith.

@Zentz29 LMAO, I recently listed some of the most sick OT and some NT scripture to a Christian and there answer actually was, "I don't have to read it because I know you do what all atheist do, you took it out of text". I replied back that some of them were whole chapters not data mining to prove my point. Then he said OT don't apply and I am taking Jesus saying he has not come to abolish the law out of text as well. Judges 11:30-39.. Challenge to Christians read this then say God is Good.

God apparently cares more about the freewill of a rapist than the virginity and wellbeing of a young girl. And given God's affinity for virginity that's quite a statement.
