@TheAnnie63 I notice that you live in the UK which is well known for ballroom dancing. I assume that you have a great number of opportunities to have professional dance teaching. Where we are located in Tasmania there are no such teachers or opportunities and hence we try to do the best we can. We are only social dancers and we are aware of our short comings. We will certainly take on board your comment and try to improve ourselves for the future. I hope you enjoy dancing as much as we do.

@petervharris Thank you for your comments. If you search for upbeatdancing you will find 3 more dances. We are looking at doing some more however it will be late June or July before this can done due to other commitments.

this music is not the foxtrot i train ballroom and i am sure this is not the foxtrot i competed in many ballroom dances and never this song for the foxtrot

It is quite clinical. I'd expect my beginners class to do better than his after 15 minutes. Right side leading on the check and left side leading on he lockstep would vastly improve the style.

Thanks for doing these really clear demonstrations and walkthroughs. I am sorry some have criticised you because you aren't professionals!! Personally I found them very helpful and my only criticism is that there aren't more!

I agree with The Annie63, and would like to add that the man's locks are heel locks in this dance, not toe locks. Also, all the walks are done releasing the ballroom hold in a hand to hand hold. It would also improve the dance if you just slowed down a little to fully use each beat of the music. I hope this helps.
