The Malcolm X Collection on DVD: http://malcolmxfiles.blogspot.com/

Rejecting the non-violent approach of Martin Luther King, Malcolm X explains: "One white man named Lincoln supposedly fought the civil war to solve the race problem and the problem is still here...and then another white man named Kennedy came along, running for president, and told Negroes what all he was going to do for them if they voted for him, and they voted for him 80 percent, and he's been in office now for three years and the problem is still here. When police dogs were biting black women and black children and black babies in Birmingham, Alabama, that Kennedy talked about what he couldn't do because no federal law had been violated, and as soon as the Negroes exploded and began to protect themselves and got the best of the crackers in Birmingham, then Kennedy sent for troops. And there was no-- he used -- he didn't have any new law when he sent for the troops when the Negroes erupted than he had at the time when whites were erupting. So we are within our rights and with justice-- with justification when we express doubt concerning the ability of the white man to solve our problem and also when we express doubt concerning his integrity, concerning his sincerity, because you will have to confess that the problem has been around here for a long time and whites have been saying the same thing about it for the past 100 years and it's no nearer a solution today than it was a hundred years ago."

  • @459triple3 Think of the war machine, Lockheed Matian has lobbiest lobbying for senators and representitives who will vote to go to war(Buying bombs made by Lockeed Martian). Whites and blacks alike have been taken advantege of in these instices, since the cost is payed by the tax put on (all) people. My opinion is when we look at color to the extent you are, we "can't see the wood for the trees".

  • @EasedBluntman Racial seperation was an issue but I'm sure the people who only pay lip service to the statement "All men were created equal" are fading into a minority, except in government of course, were money buys war, unconstitutional laws, and unfair imporportionate taxes put on ones earnings.

  • Appleman, you're a idiot!! His speeches are over forty years old, the racial climate was different, tense. What the fuck are u babbling about!? Go attend a Klan rally somewhere..you sap!

  • obama is not doing nothing for the blace people neither so whats his point nothing will every change unless you get on a plane and go home

  • all this guy really was was a hater and a black hitler he wanted to say these words to make everybody mean and nasty some good points he had but still his actions where to push and start hate and thats no way at all too lead people of any race

  • well being of the white race i say yea you think you have a point malcom one is a dead mans words hold not truth two you have been as a free people since 1865 and if you do not like this and that and no more bullshit then get on a plane for africa and move and live there a american black man would not last a month in africa so be happy for what you have no ones chasing you anymore you got a zebra in the white house doing shit so what more do you want just go you do not here the jews oranyoneelse

  • The black man is now marginalized to the point of "standstill." We don't propagate at the same rate, reproducing like the other races...our progress has stalled, unlike the other races who have successfully and successively pushed the bar, population wise. Statistically, per census, we have sat at or lingered around the same numeric, for years. We kill each other exponentially, and we now refer to stints spent in penal institutions, as attending college. We got a lot of work to do.

  • I think we as a group have taken a step back...our families are def not as solid as they once were... respect for one another in our communities have gone down the drain...before we stood together whether behind mx or mlk...now we stand by behind a blank...so out of touch with a true struggle to sit at the table

  • @Misterdeeh3000 There IS a black president, so some progress has been made. But I think that is mainly a class thing. Black people are still disproportionately poor, which makes it hard to progress in anything. And yes, culturally I do feel that black people have taken a step back since segregation, which is another contributing factor. I don't know if using Native Americans as an example of a race making progress is a good one, seeing as they struggle with poverty as well.

  • To have a good argument, you must first have a true understanding of the history involved. If you say the "Indians" have progressed, while commendable, you should cease such an argument until you learn more...mayhap look to some examples in your own country possibly of a group of people who have been decimated or enslaved or gov't laws made to deny a specific group of people the rights a constitution granted them...start there first then try again

  • Huge question, my family is Hispanic, argentinan, I always argue with my brothers and father because they say why and how blacks haven't progressed in USA after segregation , I always point out that most of it is simply politics , they argue that other races and cultures such as Irish, indians, have been pushed down yet progress, so I need help, a good argument as to why blacks haven't progressed

  • great man you were malcolm !!!!
