Hi Cormie, as a gay black man I wish I could make you feel that I had no choice in this but I can't. The Black and gay rights comparison, on which I agree with you, is not a fair comparison. However, your comment on choice and hurtful reference to suicide, which is on the minds of many kids made me sad. Indeed I have a choice to be with a woman ignoring my true sexual nature (I don't hear voices) but I wouldn't be FREE to be my true self and I think that is the true comparison; free to be you.

you say you're an Obama supporter but your views speak differently. YOU'RE RIGHT about pretty much everything but Obama isn't changing anything because he's just another politician. He's soft on immigration, he's soft on the military policy and all those other issues... if you say you're a conservative I think you're more of an independent than a democrat.
