Grim Fandango [Year 2, Part 16]

Manny goes back to his club and finds a letter from Salvatore Limones. He shows this to the discussing people at the Blue Casket, and they start respecting him for knowing Salvatore. Having befriended them, he is free to borrow the book that is able to formulate what Terry the bee can't. With the book in hand Terry attempts to create a Bee-union for creating a better working-class. He is then put to jail by Bogen, and Manny sets out to find a lawyer.

After seeing the whole thing... I still feel like this story/game would have still been nice without this romance... but, like I said, I'm generally not a whiny antiromance girl... and I liked some of Manny and Meche scenes later in the game. So, the romance wasn't necessary, but it didn't felt annoying at all in the end... so I'm good with it now.

I like it because it follows the themes of a film noir and it fits with the style. There always is a woman, but she doesn't always mean the same thing.

The birds's names... I'm not usually a whiny antiromance kind of girl... but I feel like Manny/Meche is forced on us (and on Manny) while they just met once and briefly... and Manny keeps saying that he's not specially into Meche... He's more interested in finding a way to leave. Personally, I think this story can do without romance (personal opinion)... but maybe the end will prove me that it's not a pointless romance. Don't know. Wait and See.

Hmm, is it just me, or does Manny have TWO love interests?

While, both of them aren't really well backed up, that's the one flaw of this game I could find, Eva is a slut, and Meche is... well... Manny has talked to her once..

I remember watching stuff when I was 6-7 too, like my Dad playing Diablo 2, and Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 2 scared the shit outta me.
