I remember having to grind respawning enemies in order to get full power in the first level. Definately takes a while.
As neat as the Fist of the North Star martial art is, I'm surprised they never made a game incorporating Rei's Fist of the Swan. Slicing people into pieces with your fingertips is a nice complimentary style to go along with people otherwise exploding.
