@chingu143 dude u dont get the movie ????? he tried to kill his wfie coz he thought that his wife was Chow's pure daughter untill Takeshi told him that his wife was adopted. Chow was the one that killed his whole family.

you have to keep in mind that he had to watch his whole family die when has was just a "kid", that definitively traumatized him...you can't really expect logical behaviour from such a person
