NARNIA, THE MUSICAL
An original musical co-produced and directed by Terence Guillermo with executive producer Kuo Po
KPRT creates its Anime-inspired adaptation of C.S. Lewiss classic masterpiece "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Ward...robe" that takes you and your children to a fun-filled adventure through the winter and spring seasons of Narnia, a magical world where all manner of flora and fauna become divine and alive at Aslan's command.
Join the Pevensie children, Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy as they first enter Narnia through a wardrobe and support them as they join Aslan's forces to battle the White Witch and her minions.
This heart-warming tale reinforces the value of repentance, forgiveness, loyalty and bravery and is a show that both the young and old will enjoy!

ABOUT THE KIDS PERFORMINGTM REPERTORY THEATER
July 2009 sees the formation of KIDS PERFORMING REPERTORY THEATRE (KPRT) as an extension of the work of Kids PerformingTM in Singapore, to support young talents.
KPRT aims to showcase year-long musicals and straight plays featuring young musical theatre and performing arts students from Kids PerformingTM. The objective of the theatre is to provide selected students of Broadway Kids, Musicals for Teens, and other performance training programs a platform to experience a full-scaled musical taking their lesson from the classroom directly to a professional theatre.
Actors of KPRT are casted after they have gone through Kids PerformingTMs unique performance training. Aside from receiving a certificate of participation at the end of the course, KPRTs students also get to experience working alongside professional actors and creative production teams.
The inaugural musical production of this Theatre is a musical adapatation of the much-loved The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by CS Lewis using the authorised libretto from Trumpets. Under the direction of Terence Guillermo and stage management by Celeste dela Cruz, this anime-inspired musical will be staged at the Singapore Repertory Theatre on December 20th and 21st 2009
