New US citizenship test

To pass the redesigned citizenship test, you need to know - among other things - 17 names: 10 important historical figures, 4 current government officials and 3 elected regional officials. This video helps you "put a face to the name". In the second part of the video there is a self-test.

It's because you're still doing the old version. If you filed your N-400 on or after October 1, 2008, you will have to take the new version of the test, which DOES include all these people :-) Consider yourself lucky...

Tip: Don't worry. No one ever fails such tests. Those giving the tests are heavily biased, perhaps closely associated with an immigrant or an immigrant him/herself, having no real love for the USA, being here just for the handouts and easy money and better standard of living, desiring only to siphon cash out of the USA to send back home.

I think it's funny that people who come into this country by passing this test know more about our history and politics then that of a lot of the poeple who have lived in the US all their lives! Way to go America! :D

@ladymuchemi2009 he help free the slaves from the southern part of the us if they asked for pardon and did other certain things. that was after the civil war. and i beleive that he did help save the union.

can you just pay a load of money to become a citizen? its just that my friend tried to become a citisen and took her forever.

im english so the language wont be a problem for me and i know most of the basics of american history.
