In 1965 the United States & Britain overthrew the democratically elected President Sukarno In Indonesia, & installed the brutal dictator Suharto.

Helping him slaughter 500,000+ people.

A member of the commision that wrote the Indonesian Govt. report, stated in a private admission that 780,000 were killed.

Death Tolls in Indonesian Coup:

Official Indonesian Military Govt est: 78,000
U.S. State Dept: 100,000 - 1,000,000
New York Times: 150,000 to 400,000
Hartman: 300,000 to 600,000
Encarta: 300,000 to 1,000,000
Washington Post: 500,000
Eckhardt: 500,000
Chomsky: 500,000+
Rummel: 509,000
Amnesty International: 1,000,000+

Not only did the American & British Governments fear that the first Democratically elected Communist party was about to ascend to power in Indonesia, but they wanted to exploit it's vast resources.

Declassified documents (housed at the National Security Archive) from a State Department Volume covering Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines in the years 1964-68 show that America sent death lists to aid the slaughter & paid groups involved in it:

Embassy officials estimated the death tolls at between 100,000 - 1,000,000 but advised to "err on the side of the lower estimates, especially when questioned by the press":

But the U.S. should know, according to Kathy Kadane, the journalist who originally interviewed Ambassador Martens & uncovered the sending of death lists (prior to the CIA acknowledgement):

"The US provided key logistical equipment....Jeeps were supplied by the Pentagon to speed troops over Indonesia's notoriously bad roads, along with "dozens and dozens" of field radios that the Army lacked. As Ms. Laber noted, the US (namely, the Pentagon) also supplied "arms." Cables show these were small arms, used for killing at close range.

The supply of radios is perhaps the most telling detail. They served not only as field communications but also became an element of a broad, US intelligence-gathering operation constructed as the manhunt went forward."

"According to a former US official, the US listened in to the broadcasts on the US-supplied radios for weeks as the manhunt went forward, overhearing, among other things, commands from Soeharto's intelligence unit to kill particular persons at given locations."

Once America, Britain & Suharto overthrew democracy in Indonesia, it was thrown open to exploitation by Western Business & Investors.

  • and then the U.s. government under FORD and Kissinger armed the indonesian hired guns to invade East timor. General suharto then proceeded to carry out pogroms on the tiny island which killed over 250,000 people. ANd this was carried out in successive amerikkkan administrations. The humanitarian" Carter supported Suharto. of course the Zionist reagan supprted him as well. The pentagon funneled weapons to him during his 16 year reign of mass murder in East timor

  • Yes, I've located the declassified docs where Ford basically gave Suharto the green light to invade E.Timor. I'll be doing a video of it eventually.

  • When a man shoots and kills those that have come to kill and rob him in his home.....that is another capitalist atrocity isn't it.

  • How so?

  • @someguyyt How can you compare a man killing a murderer for self deffence with an army torturing and killing systematically millions of innocent civilians?

It was a crime not against communists not against indonesians, it was a crime against humanity. Suharto was worse than Hitler.

  • Your videos are great, and your take on 9/11 is refreshing.

It's nice to hear there are others out there who believe our interventionist policy is a disaster with out running straight to the 9/11 is inside job rant that so often makes the rest of us seem like we are in a group of nut jobs. Which is the real conspiracy in my view. Keep everyone believing Ron Paul fans are nuts, and the true facts will be overlooked.

Check out my vid on HR 1207, and keep up the good work.

  • google The Coup In Iran. 1953>>Mark Curis This along with the shooting down of an Iranian civilian airliner by the US cruiser Vincennes over the Persian Gulf killing all 290aboard. The US government never apologized.

  • From 1898-1916 the US is resp[onsible for the deaths of 1.4 million Philippinos.

  • google The Indonesia Massacare 1965-1966

  • Excellent video! What about a video on US-CIAs first attempt to overthrow Sukarno? I'm talking about 1957-58. The US arming corrupt, rebellious provincial commanders, and employing foreign mercenaries to supply the rebels, and to bomb and strafe the Indonesian govt. positions. There is now stuff on this part of history on the net. Start here: The United States and the 1958 rebellion in Indonesia+Brichoux+Gerner - Lots of reliable links here as well. - Good luck!

  • @EkajTheSwordsman bullshit!

  • not so!! and Kathy is not the only one to have "alleged" that Ralph McGehee does as well and points out the times's pieces are OP-ED (as if what the TTimes said mattered anyway)

  • we will never know how many died but I suspect the number is larger than 1 million much larger!!

  • @EkajTheSwordsman oh really what about the "killing lists" drawn up by the CIA and MI 6? did the Holy Ghost supply them?

  • what happened to indonesia is absolutely absolutely teethgrinding. one of those fascist capitalist holocausts.

thanks for all the efforts. good job.
