I made this video because i was bored and i was thinking about some of my favorite ships! I narrowed it down to their size popularity (or lack of), elegance, speed, and personal opinion, I didnt choose the Normandie because I have never found her exteriors to be an appealing match to her elaborate interiors! Instead I chose another French line great, SS France/ Norway. I do find the normandie very amazing but I think these others have a more interesting story.

I really do appreciate classic liners but there are a few i dont care for! To me Canberra looks too tall and fat and the superstructure does not complement the hull! I chose these ships because I have done more research on them! I know their history and it seemed fitting! I didnt put Oriana in because I didnt know much about her, she looks like the canberra and I just dont find them very appealing! Sorry!

I would like t know the diffrance from a cruise ship and an ocian liner for I ws surprised that the Qeen Mary2 was slassed as an ocian liner is it speed for cruiose ships are not alll that fast no need for more like 25 knots or is it the sahpe of the holl theylook slightly different i asume light weight mattrials and diesle power makes them posiible

there is a good programe on bbc iplayer at the moment about ocean liners. i think its on bbc four. Well worth a watch :O)
