gencer is a really great artist and i love her.

she is a primadonna for sure.

but i love zeani a bit more. virginia always sung all or nothing.

@jocmuc They are all good singers indeed. It's just the personal taste to like someone more or less. For my taste Gencer is better, for your taste Zeani is better. It's natural. They are both excellent :)

@lamusicahera I never liked this kind of comments. Gencer sang Lady Macbeth more than any other famous sopranos during her time. Her Leonoras, Gilda, Elenas, Amelia are socond to none! Just listen to her 1960 Macbeth recording! You'll see how big her voice is. She sang Aida at Arena di Verona. A small voiced soprano can't sing there for years, can she? Contrary to your statement Callas' voice is not apropriate for Verdi and many other composers. Though I like them all.
