Old Fashioned Social Media: Volunteering with Seniors

Back to basics: Old fashioned-style Social Media, face-to-face with NJ seniors in the community. I volunteer one hour per month, once a month at a local senior center in New Jersey, doing arts & crafts, for the past seven years. As we work on our projects together, we chat about family, the weather, and things going on around town. The ladies give the completed arts & craft projects to their grandchildren, neighbors, or keep them for themselves. I purchase and donate the arts and craft supplies at my own expense and also accept donations. Do you volunteer? Would you like to get started volunteering in your own community but not sure how?
