Ron Paul on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Part 1

I've watched a lot of Ron Paul videos, and this is my favorite. The cuts to the viewing party, the supporters' reactions is so great. I'm sitting alone in my bedroom, but I kind of feel like I'm in the room with everyone. So great. Way to go guys.

LOL! That woman next to him is neither his daughter nor his granddaughter. I was there and I can't tell you WHO that woman was, but she made sure to be rightnexto Dr. P the whole time the camera was on.

what's wrong with limited government....that's how the country was founded.

because with him, limited means minimal. the founding fathers understood that minimal government wasn't always the answer. thus, they expressed the need for "moderate" government. they frequently discussed the dangers of too much or too little. read the federalist, you'll see what i mean. in my opinion, ron paul is too little. also, his no income tax (or taxes period, can't remember) wouldn't suffice. the founding fathers understood the necessity of taxes, as well.

@DavidsVirtualSelf all valid points. but one of the beauties of the constitution is the system of checks and balances. i believe the actual changes paul would be able to make in office would be to the benefit of the nation. the executive branch simply doesn't have the authority to make all the changes he is proposing. at the same time, i think he's the only candidate striving towards the ideals closest to what the country actually needs. and yes, i'll do some homework, as u suggested.

checks and balances is indeed on of the beauties! the idea behind the structure of congress is too. as far as his views, i'll give him credit on his foreign policy. it's the best out there.
