Even today after mass ressetlements you have 250 000 polish minority in Lithuania and almost 400 000 polish minority in Belaruss- thouse who somehow weren't expelled from their land (and their descendents). Even totally blind person would recognize that Lwów area (and others behind curson line wasn't purely ukrainian or belarussian. Manhattan was built by Dutch settlers, bought from the Indians, who NEVER LIVED THERE. Only a few millions of Indians lived in Northern America in 1600. Many were killed in 1880. They had no states. No state borders. They sold some lands to Dutch and English colonial powers. But historical Eastern Germany, incl. Breslau, were heavily populated, in a state.
