Guxt : Score Attack - Part 1 of 2

Hi, my name's Code, and this game is Guxt! It's one of my all-time favorite shmup's even if it is simplistic in nature. It was created by Pixel, of CaveStory fame. Like CaveStory, Guxt is an incredible example of Indie Gaming and it's highly recommended for fans of shmup's or even new players.

This is part 1 of 2 videos of a complete run though Guxt's Score Attack Mode. In Score Attack you only get one life (but you can still pick up shields). The major difference between score attack and normal though is score attack features a secret final boss!

Is it just me, or does the beginning of the stage 3 theme sound a lot like the beginning of G Free - Final Dream/G Free - Ultimate Dream?

@mariosonicfan2010: lol, Pixel made Cave Story first then this, so it's Guxt that has a couple of the same sounds effects and the song from Cave Story >w<' There's other noticeable qualities such as the boss designs which reference Cave Story as well even Jack from Cave Story is one of the bonus score items.

fun fact: a game called cave story has a cople of the same sound affects as well as a song called zombie thats from this too.(yes,cave story IS in fact made by pixel as well as this.)

very nice :) you know, you can get scores out of items like speed and weapon too. when you eat them right after you free them from the shell. depending on how fast you eat your score will differ. the best you can get is 100. just thought I'd let you know, since it will help with the score attack. :)
