Ah yes much better than the GN vid I just came from. It's more of a stocking filler than a masterpiece but I do sympathize with this 'grudge' type genre of ..... (industrial?) music which GN now seems to embrace so much .... it's so now.

Such a brilliant track....better live I must admit! :D

not just that but its pretty much his 70's and early 80's sound with a dark feel to it really, hes doing what most modern artists are afraid to do with their genres they are in, moving forward. Numan has always tried moving forward, even when the music was crappy he chose to push on, but having a few bad apples in your catalog is the sign of a good artist imo, shows they are willing to branch out, sure you might lose and gain a few fans but hey you make music for you not other ppl

you really think he's not using the guitar? you deaf? electric guitar can do various sounds, it's not always Judas Priest solos.. then again the synthetizers do the most job in industrial music :P that's why I love it!

@inrsprt Oh for Christ's sake, stop being so self righteous. XD

I think it's fantastic that Mr Numan didn't just inspire a generation, but he actually took inspiration from the same people he fed. This is how music should work

because its a music video you dumbass. and dont talk shit on reznor, hes the god.
-
Oh yea U2 did that, having an insterment and not using it.

Why does he have a G-tar, it is for looks. Hwn most ppl think of a front man of Rock ( industrial) they think of a singer the can play a guitar, wear black , and maybe a lil eye make up. Kinda like Trent Reznor :P
