The simple truth is that the Dutch first-division league is a better league than the MLS, and Bradley was a more potent force in that league than Altidore was in the MLS last season with Red Bulls.
Thus, I see no logical justification whatsoever for Altidore getting the award over Bradley.

Why not? He has great distribution from the center, makes a lot of crunching tackles, very dynamic and intense going forward. Good pace as well; Has improved his touch and dribbling quite a bit.
