Why I Never Took Up Small Plane Flying

By the way, these planes DO have enough thrust to stand on the prop like that. So an event like this IS possible in real life.

I'm a 15,000 hour pilot. Two things if you look closely. Flying the vertical stabilizer with rudder deflection just prior to the landing, you would have seen more deflection of the rudder, though this may have actually been done with an RC plane. What gave the fake away for me was in the turn at the very end of the video. You'll notice, the size of the RC model compared to the real plane after the turn to park. A fake, a REAL GOOD fake. But a fake. Nice job by the videographer!

fake............!!!!!

Can you make another video of you crash and burn alive for real this time??

lol yeah like that could happen ..Fake ..But a very nice job

....and a aerobatic pilot has a parachute!

look at the touchdown. It's so unrealistic :S

@Crypt1cmyst1c Well, If you do a knife-edge you don't really use the wings for lift, do you? so in theory you might be able to pull off something like this.

I saw this. Absolutely amazing. About as real as CGI can get.

Once again FAKE AND GAY!
This kind of shit is not funny at all.

this video has been overanalyzed a lot of times, and it's fake. a model plane can make this kind of landing, but a real "raceplane" is too heavy... raceplanes are specifically designed for minimum weight. the wings are made small, and if one was missing there wouldnt be enough lift for one to land like this. (though since the engines are incredibly strong, they could theoretically do a vertical landing with enough skill to save the pilot)
