the difference is that we don't tear down our own beautiful campus and burn things --NOR DO business owners expect it as things are not boarded up before a game in the event we lose

sports is part of UCLA life

it is NOT life

and we have left Columbus

and made friends there

but are off to Rome and London and Athens and Jerusalem

wrote two comments in response to Kasino Royale-- read please I had forgotten and btw bagging on OSwho videso is "not all I do" as you say We are no longer there thank GOD! Academic Exchange between Universities is good thing and we are done and back home. We have seen the good and the bad--and mnay profs. at OSU have a good life-- BUT they do not like the double standard with regards to several of the athletic programs and some WILL fail the kids whether "coach" likes it or not!

We were on Exchange with many Professors from a variety of Universities.

Each school had its ups and downs-

and we attended many athletic events at all places .OSU was third worst in fan behavior behind Miami Florida and Hawaii

Outside of the usual smack, I have never seen adults cuss at 12 year olds wearing the opposite teams apparel!

Ini their face saying "fuck you kid and your team" not even at Mich. or USC

having been there along with 2 SEC schools it was very interesting to note the OSU "culture" was amongst the worst in how they treated the opposing fans-

yes even worse than USC in Pasadena.

We thought we would go to the games of all the places we worked ( on exchange with a variety of Universities)

but OSU was the worst ( outside of Hawaii and Miami ,florida)

TRue enough regarding the second half of your comment that is fair at least there is one OSU fan with perspective We lived in Columbus for 3 plus years and could not believe the indescribable behavior of the "fans" worst I had seen Outside of Hawaii and Miami of Florida Now we live elsewhere due to jobs and it is not "in our face" all the time. Good luck to the "true" fans of which we saw damn few of. We are in academia. Having been at Texas, Peen State, UCLA and Boston and 2 SEC

Isn't that because you can't?? Its an apples and oranges argument. UCLA hasn't been a national power since?? and tOSU knocks on the door at least every other year. It doesn't matter if we win it all or not, its the fact we have the capability to win it. UCLA doesn't have that same capability.

A better comparison would be tOSU football and UCLA basketball. UCLA basketball fans can relate to tOSU football fans because they strive for greatness every year. :)
