  • Just stumbled upon this. Great stuff. Am liking and favoriting. Song might be familiar, but then all three of my sisters play piano and guitar!

Cheers from another one with Irish blood in the veins!

Why is the song called what it is? Something to do with Thomas Paine or the French Revolution?

  • @SakaScotii

The tune is sometimes associated with James Hill and named after the book by Thomas Paine. I think that it is unverifiable...

  • tu es très doué ! bravo

  • @jeanbanwarth Hey, thanks. Listening again right now. Prefer thrash bass myself, ha, but this stuff is good sometimes. Good job, once again.

  • I love traditional Irish music. This has always been one of my favorites. It conveys such a beautiful mood. I covered it myself in mandolin with an acoustic guitar backing track. Your finger style is such a worthy compliment to this masterpiece ....

  • J'ai trouvé cet arrangement que je trouve meilleur mais plus difficile que celui de Glenn Weiser pour le choix des basses . Amicalement .J.C.

    Merci, mon ami.

That is some talent you've got there! I have replayed this video over and over again, It's pure class. I'm learning this tune on the Irish banjo at the moment and your playing is an influence for me, go raibh maith agat mo chara, from Ireland!!!
