  • that was pretty sweet :))

  • @R5P205 We have lots of hillclimbs! This is one of the easier ones in the series of more advanced climbs. This one is not doable on a poor traction day (too dry or mud)

  • Hills so groomed...but still pree sick

try riding down at the Crows Nest pass in Alberta

  • Ours get named from special events that happen durring making them, or odd landmarks on the trail.

Steamer= everyones bike was steaming over making it.

Tombstone= A rock that looks like a tombstone at the start of it.

Blue tarp= What else theres blue tarps on the trail

I could go on and on, they all have a meaning behing them.

  • Sounds like fun. We rename trails for great events.. Like "The Travis broken plastic trail, Pooper hill climb (yep it happened. strained it out of himself!)Bonker (named after my head knocker on a low limb).. What fun..

  • We have a couple trails that are around 5-6 miles of nonstop brutality, (The Tombstone, The blue tarp trail, The steamer)they are my favorite ones, they seperate who's in shape and who's not, and if you make a mistake you have time to catch up, you just keep thinking the guy ahead of you will eventually make a mistake, and allow you to make up the lost ground.

  • And so the race is on! We see who can keep going here without stopping for arm and hand failure... 10 miles is extreme due to the massive physical output! Simply no rest spots at speed. Last week I led a group for an hour (waiting for Marshal and a late show)around multiple times the same loops. What a kick! It was the shopken/superdave/jason GP! we were fly'n! It was fun to loop the new guys that were augering and sawing at the bars...I think our roost as we passed helped them out a bit;)

  • It's easy to tell when someones taking to the terrain, and it's only a matter of time till their in front of you, my friend Ricks like that, he's faster than me now, unless I'm having a good day.

  • Hes a natural and rides like a tank on steroids. I can only stay ahead of him in the tight woods... and that is going to be short lived!

  • I like how Super Dave transfers his weight so far forward at the right time, so the front end stays planted as he's gassing it on the steep incline, yet he's getting plenty of traction.
