For the final project of Media Arts 12, Andy, Michaela and I took some initiative and ordered Super 8 film from Kodak across the country (which we got the school to pay for :D). The result was this pseudo silent era hodgepodge, constructed of reasonably random, strung together scenes generated for the purpose of giving us as many opportunities for experimentation as possible. The whole process was a great learning experience, and although the content is largely screwing around, in-jokes and chance-based whims ("The Death of God," etc.), the artistic theory, technical experimentation and further refinement of craft (in this case, the points of the project) are what we took from it, and despite its flaws, it's fun and interesting to look back on.
