@NumericOempa Harry Potter isn't really a film, it's a childhood. It's something you grow up with. Imagine giving awards for every single tiny detail Harry Potter offered. There wouldn't be enough awards. It's just above awards. Its prestige. As long as all Potterheads are behind Harry Potter and will always be there, awards are worthless.

How come Lord of the Rings wins 4 oscars and Harry Potter doesn't even get nominated? I mean, there were 3 Lord of the Rings, but 8 Harry Potters. And it lasted much longer. What's wrong with this world..

THIS FILM DESERVES AN OSCAR NOMINATION FOR BEST PICTURE!! no other film has captured the hearts of so many devoted fans, and ended a franchise that has spanned a decade, so gracefully.
