They beat him. They deprived him. They ridiculed him. They broke his heart. But they couldn't break his spirit.

  • @blobby1972 Yeah good bastards that need bringing back to get some respects in the youth of today!

  • What really annoys me about this film is that you can not get the original anywhere anymore. The DVD version has been dubbed. Its different voices over the top in quite a lot of places. some parts are the original voices but about half of the film isnt. This clip here when they ask the ginger lad if he is going nesting isnt the original voices. What is more annoyin is nobody else seems to notice! Anyone what taped Kes off the telly when it was shown in the early to mid 80s will know what I mean!

  • I work in schools and I don`t recognise this as a school. No-one is swearing, hanging out of the window or throwing chairs at each other!

The kids have too many rights these days to be disiplined.

  • teachers were bastards back then .

  • it just come out sir...just like you casper from under a stone..quality...

  • "Ey up, Billy, what's tha mean, Germans bite?"

  • Aaah shet marth, am sick er hearin abart Gemans bite.
