Multimedia Art Exhibition "Sense, do you"

It is so fun, why don't you take your step right away?

To initiate the interest and curiosity of youths to multimedia art, and promote the local development of multimedia art, a media art exhibition entitled "Sense, do you?" is organized by the year 3 students of Higher Diploma in Media Arts of Hong Kong Art School. The exhibition will be held from 21 January to 3 February 2008 at white @rcade of Hong Kong Art School Learning Centre. Opening ceremony will be taken place on 21 January 2008 at 7:00 p.m., and some famous local media artists are invited as honorable guests.

The artworks in the exhibition contain dynamic and static elements, which is the inspiration of the exhibition. Through interaction with audience, all senses will be stimulated by the pleasant expression of each artwork. By using different media, interfaces and materials, prominent characteristics of media art ﹣participation and interaction, are emphasized in a relaxing and funny way to eliminate resistance and misunderstanding from public to multimedia art. Make it short, it's Cool!

One of the artwork «Push», an installation having numerous buttons all over the device, but not every button can conveniently and successfully execute the function. Well, does machinery facilitate humanity? or had we already been spoiled by machinery and computer? Another artwork «Extend», from leaving the mother's womb, we always have a set of theories or ways to follow, are they a law or a control to us? In the installation, the scene changes between left, right, back and forth, we experience what is control feel like.
