@NISHEETHSORJM I don't think there's a problem with the newest version, 2012, but the layout is a little different. I simply cannot find the drop-down beside your "new file" icon. My equivelant is the "home" button.

My trial period is just about over now so I've given up and will have to look for other software.

I appreciate the reply. One suggestion. Add in some audio to your youtube vids to assist with the instructional.

@jayce1983 There is no problem with version 2012. I just made a video similar to this about creating gears through Autodesk inventor. It is for Spur Gear but you can create Bevel gear in similar way.

I just downloaded the trial for 2012. Looks very similar, but when i click that first button it simply opens a new tab. It looks like you have a library of tools (lik egears) to pull form, but I can't get past the first step.. any help would be greatly appreciated.
