I well into my 50s and have struggled with depression on and off my whole life. I've even had counseling. I remember dealing with depression at the age of 4. I might have suffered from depression earlier than that but I don't remember my life before the age of 4. It started when we moved from Alaska to Washngton State. My mother was a college student and II remember hanging around her when she was studying. This episode lasted several months. I had others before I was 10.

What most people dont know is that if somone has childhood depression their mental age is higher than it should. So we feel like noone can understand us

nice clip.. and no reference to the use of drugs to 'fix' the problem.. well done!! Depression, sadness or just the lack of 'meaning' can and does occur throughout all ages groups... It's important to remember (or at least have hope) that there is a path out of suffering... it does exists - hang in there. :)
