victoria is my least favorite but I do know she had a great voice back in the early touch-spice days. When it comes to touch she had more solos, then with spice...u know what happened. Such a shame she didnt show off her voice...nevertheless she is the richest! lmao

Disagree, they were all "decent" vocalists. Each of them serve a different function. STRONG voices don't "blend" well in a "Shearing block" type of harmony. You need soft voices to FILL the spaces to make it sound FULL and THICK. You can't just have voices that are all STRONG and put together a girl group like that. You'll need a lot of BACKUP SINGERS in that setting to make up for the harshness. (Ask any choir director, they'll tell you the same thing.)

@LaSerpentaCanta I agree with everything you said!!! You're so right! Victoria could sing from the day one she entered the group. Just listen to her audition. I never realised why she had no confidence at lives. I agree also that in Forever was the first time someone would take them seriously as vocalists and they try to prove that actually changing their image too. I think they tried to prove that also with their solo music but not all manage! At least 3 of them can sing good!

out of the five, there were really only 2 that stood out as vocalist and that was Emma and Mel C. Mel B was an Ok singer while Geri and Victoria were still developing their vocals. The choruses to all the songs were obviously recorded with all the girls but for a few they would choose the best sounding girl and amplify her slightly but keep the rest slightly lower because not all five sound good on the choruses.
