Riding the very dumb but interesting service staff elevators at Humber River Finch General Hospital. The staff were very nice to let me film these elevators. However these elevators are so dumb that if you want to go to floor 1 it goes to floor 6 and the 1 button goes out! That means the controller thinks that the elevator is at the 1st floor. I couldn't get the passenger elevators because they were all out of service! I don't understand why there are 10 floors shown on the elevator! There's only 7 in this building! Weird 0_o.

@6videos I wonder how "repeatable" this is (e.g. does she do this every single time). In any event, yeah, I know what you are talking about... I know one who will cancel all her selections if she thinks she is being played with (I think is called a "nuissance mode" in her manual, but only saw that mentioned there and never actually read about that)... But yeah, to mention a third elevator system, I and others noticed the ones at Gaylord National hotel will sometimes do what this 1 here does.

That's not dumb. Certain elevators do that to make sure that no body is just going up and down. M
