Scott had a dream a few days ago he was able to walk with his friend, John. Well, today, John called and asked if he could come over to help stretch and walk Scott. We were glad to have him over. After they stretched, Scott asked if I could help spot him as he tried to "walk". Since about mid-Dec Scott has been trying to walk unassisted and has been able to take about 8 steps without needing help. Well, on the first shot, he walked 21 steps before we had to help him (and I believe the only reason he stopped was because he had to turn around so we would not hit the wall)! After about 9-10 steps he literally got into a slow robotic rhythm. It was beautiful! We knew we had to try to get it on tape. So, after we took a break for dinner, we tried it again. Scott needed "spotting" about 4-5 times this time, but when he got to the wall again, and turned around, he wanted to keep going back.

This video has been spliced together to show you our TAKE 2 attempt for him to walk unassisted. When you see the back of Scott, this is where John picked up the camera to record more, and Scott did not realize he had lost his "spotter" in the back, but he just kept on walking. We lost count in the mid-forties, but it was probably about 50-60 steps with me helping him balance (slightly) maybe 2 times! Incredible Progress! My camera has some sort of feature that turns the image whichever way you are looking at it and so unfortunately, part of the video is recorded sideways -but you can still get the joy of seeing this landmark improvement. You will notice I am merely putting one arm in front, and one arm in back, to create a sort of safety cage for Scott. Thank you Jesus for your healing! We are currently on day 36 of our Daniel-Fast! We are also on day 3-4 of our Copeland Healing Study we are doing. We are praying, we are asking, we are believing, and we are receiving healing. This is a testimony to God's faithfulness! Amen!

  • Great job Scott! Keep up the work. I am a leaner...I now can lean on items and get around. Wishing you the best.
