  • @SteveSabbai I don't wee why it wouldn't work.  Try it out on a cheap car and see how things turn out.

  • what kind of sand paper would i need to make the right kind of powder for weathering my rolling stock? where did you buy your chalk? Great video! They really help!

  • @MrDiscovery1267 I think it was 100 grit sandpaper. I got the chalk at Hobby Lobby

  • thanks a lot. I just watched this and it worked great, but I still have to seal it. Instead of sanding the paint I scraped graphite pencil lead off with a razor blade and put it on with a brush and then rubbed it in with my finger.  It looks like heavy grime in thicker spots and dulls the paint everywhere else like the sun would. You should try it!
