November 21, 2009. My wife, Lauren, and I left Phoenix on a 4-hour drive to the Imperial Valley, California desert to spend our 17th wedding anniversary helping one of our favorite bands, Black Gold, shoot a video for its beautiful song, "Shine". I didn't have time to get many photos, but most of what I was able to shoot is in this short video. By the way, we had a blast. It was amazingly, bitterly, cold considering this was the desert. But the members of the band, the folks from Red Bull Records and the production crew were all so nice and great to work with. The entire adventure is a memory we'll cherish forever.
