@somenun Nevermind, I realized that you need FCP to export with this codec. I'll try working with this "apple intermediate codec" that you mentioned, and see how editing in FCE goes. Thanks!

@somenun I don't have "ProRes 422" available, either. Do you know why that is? Do I have a wrong version of MPEG Streamclip?

@vinkaran yeah no problem. After i shot on the canon t2i I plug it into my computer. However before going right to editing on FCE 4, I convert it on a software called MPEG Streamclip (I suggest you get it, it's FREE!). One here i select all of my files by going to list, batch list and then export my files under quicktime under proress (Lt). If you don't have pro-ress (Lt) then convert it to apple intermediate codec. Once it's done rendering bring it into final cut.

@somenun Hi thanks a lot for the response and sorry to bother you again..... I converted my footage using MPEG stremline and the editing is going very smooth. I did a test edit and tried different setting to export it, but the exported quality is not full HD..... your exported footage from FCE looks awesome...... May I know what setting you used to export from FCE please. Thanks in advance.......

@vinkaran yeah no problem. So when your done export using quicktime conversion. go to option on the save menu and choose setting. Choose H.264 and bump the quality to best. Then go to the size menu and choose 1280 X 720 HD 16:9. Lastly go to audio and choose AAC and 44.1. Also change the quality to best and data rate to 192
