(http://moshows.com/louie.html) Louie Carrington, internationally acclaimed jazz pianist and singer, has more than 30 years experience performing before audiences around the world.

Entertaining for celebrities and dignitaries has been part of Carrington's career. He has opened shows for Dee Dee Bridgewater and Michelle Legend and has been a special guest entertainer for Princess Layla of Morocco. In addition, he has appeared with such great performers as Roberta Flack, Cannonball Adderley, Joe Cocker, Roy Hargraves, Dizzy Gillespie, Rod Steiger, Dick Gregory, and Natalie Cole.

Carrington earned a B.A. in music from Huston-Tillotson College in 1971 and made his first international performing tour In 1987. During a recent tour, he performed in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and Holland. Throughout his career, Carrington has maintained an edge by adding a new interpretation to some of the world's best known tunes ...his repertoire continues to expand.




Louie's most recent CD, "SEARCHING," features memorable songs including "Quiet Nights," "Route 66" and "Misty," The CD also features original compositions "When You Were Mine" and the title track, "Searching."

  • I had the opportunity to listen to him in Oman when he was doing a gig at the Shereton Oman. I loved his music and I got his CD. I still have it. Im so glad i met Louie. I wish him the very best.  Lovely music.

  • Great rythm and feeling and great chords. Tough enough to be able to sing, but to play, too, now that is an accomplishment.

  • We first heard Louie at Clary's in Galveston, TX, in 2006 and have been big fans since then. He is amazing!
