@DragonmanX90 Well, they wanted to push MVP and it was working, until the routine wellness checks revealed his Wolfe-Parkinsson White Syndrome, a rare, but potentially fatal heart disease if it went unnoticed. MVP wouldn't have been able to satisfy that schedule safely.

@RejectedSpiritX True Eddie pulled it off, but I mean with the character they have Del Rio playing right now. Only methods I can think of are Alberto either loses his money and has to earn it and the respect of the audience back, or he decides to become generous with what he has and stops saying destiny every five seconds. They tried the first one with MVP and his momentum halted almost immediately, and the other requires creative thought, not exactly a WWE strong point.

@DragonmanX90 Look at Eddie Guerrero. He was as much a despised heel as he was a beloved face. All it takes is just some creative direction. However, I doubt that happens. As much as he hates the Miz backstage for his frat boy behavior, he isn't doing much better being an arrogant prick.
