I filmed this on the jobsite with a crew making fuel wood chips for a large paper mill in the South. They were working through some fairly dificult smaller stems. This was an overgrown private tract that had never been thinned. Bringing the wood to the chipper was a CAT 545C Skidder, 'getting it done'.

This chipper was really getting the job done, loading a van in about 10 to 12 minutes. Of course the skidder was bringing a pretty steady supply of material and the chipper operator is one of the better ones I have seen. He fed the chipper steady without allowing smaller stems to get caught up in the infeed, slowing things down. JS
