A simple gift changed Oksana's life when she was a little girl in a Russian orphanage. Now, she has come full circle and is sharing the same hope she received from a shoebox gift with needy children in Panama.

@kiesha86 you right praying isnt enough because its one thing to say it but we also need to do it. the sad thing is there will also ways be poverty and kids that suffer from it, but because we have the blessing of being born in a good country (usa,canada,uk,australia ect,) were those things are provided for us we need to help those that are in need and like dera0225 said operation christmas child also provides these things (food ,water wells, medical services ect.)

The shoebox program is run by Samaritan's Purse. They do provide food and do emergency relief work. This is just a small part of how they bless and serve.

the sad thing is that just ptaying to God is not enough. There are millions of children who pray to God, but yet they will die from starvation
