I installed a TAS-2008 MTH-based fan driven smoke unit in a Lionel AF NP Alco B-unit. The horn you hear is from the other NP PB inside which I swapped out the original RailSounds chassis for a more recent Lionel AF PRR PB chassis. The PRR unit has a much better horn, and offers brake squeal, voices, etc. The 4-6-2 Pacific is a brand new Lionel AF B&O engine owned by another member of the club out on its maiden run.

  • Both hot expresses are racing each other out of Chicago Union Station! Soon levers in a wayside tower will be thrown; the B&O train will turn East & the NP train will head West!

  • Many years ago (1977) when I was collecting American Flyer Trains, I purchased the 1956 Northern Pacific A-B-A set with five cars, a barber who lived in Northeast Penna. The set was like new and in its orignal boxes. Gilbert made some great trains.

  • are those yours cose you maid them race each other

  • Thats nice! You have great talent! * I have that ABBA set with 7 cars still sealed... It was at the time , the last "PA" set Lionel was to make in the "flyer" line. Not sure if thats still true.
