I had a similar error, I fixed it by turning off the other servers I had running.

Hi, I'm unable to start glassfish through eclipse. I'm getting the following error:
The Eclipse plugin cannot communicate with the GlassFish server, status is :CREDENTIAL_ERROR
My user/pass (admin/adminadmin) is correct I have verified this through admin 4848. Please let me know if there is a solution to this issue. Thank you!
