ummm. Obama did meet with Gen. Petraus. Pics of it the same day McCain rode around in a golf cart with Former Pres. Bush. You're awfully young, so you don't remember how the Berlin Wall fell, and communism was defeated without a single American life being lost.

George Bush holds direct talks with the dictators of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Why not Iran? (By the way, Iran's "president" is democratically elected via universal suffrage.
Obama will by traveling to England, France, Germany, Iraq, and Israel later this summer.

Umm. He did meet with Petraeus. Earlier this week: pics of it all over the internet. And, not for nothing, but you are too young to recall the downfall of the Soviet Empire. Achieved without major loss of life.

I see nothing wrong with talking rather than shooting. Lest we forget this is a Nuclear age. Without talking there can be no result except the use of that unthinkable weapon.
