Can anyone explain to me what is the technological function that allows the phone to be traced to the exact point? Any help please send my way :)

It's usually a GPS receiver in the phone (half of US phones have them), but sometimes it's triangulation between mobile cell towers.

I'm not sure if I want people to know where I am all of the time. This technology is BIG BROTHER IS WHATCHING WHERE YOU ARE. Scary!! I'm happy not to be tracked down!!!
